Crewe Alexandra, the Railway Reds,
On Gresty Road where steel and dreams converge,
A whistle blows, the crowd’s low chorus spreads,
As hopes alight on every verdant swerve.
From humble works to flashes of bright green,
The lads in stripes chase glory, fierce and true,
Each tackle sings of townsfolk’s steadfast sheen,
Each goal a pulse the loyal hearts imbue.
Through rain‑slicked pitch and winter’s biting chill,
They fight, they falter, yet they never yield—
A community bound by will and will,
In Crewe’s enduring love, their spirits sealed.
So raise a chant for Alex’s proud refrain,
Where railway tracks and football dreams remain.
