Getting over someone is never easy, but music can certainly help. We're putting together the ultimate playlist of breakup anthems, and it's a real doozy. From classic heartbreak ballads to empowering dance tracks, we've got you covered.

We're kicking things off with some old-school heartbreak. Mud's 1975 hit "Oh Boy" sets the tone for a playlist that's all about moving on. The Stargazers' "I See the Moon" (1954) and Lonnie Donegan's "My Old Man's a Dustman" (1960) are more nostalgic additions, while The Spencer Davis Group's "Somebody Help Me" (1966) and Gerry & The Pacemakers' "How Do You Do It?" (1963) showcase the soulful sounds of the 60s.

Fast-forward to the 80s and 90s, and we've got a slew of iconic breakup tracks.
