Tranmere Rovers

poetry
At Prenton Park the sky is draped in white and blue,
Where Rovers’ pride has marched through seasons old.
From Wembley dreams to League Two’s steady crew,
Their heartbeat echoes in each brave, bold fold.
The Kop erupts, a chorus, fierce and true,
Singing “We’ll never drop, we’ll never fold.”
Through mud and rain, through sunshine’s golden hue,
They chase the ball with stories yet untold.
Young lads in striped kits learn the craft of art,
While veterans whisper tactics, wise and stern.
Each tackle, pass, a beating, loyal heart—
In Tranmere’s soul, the love of football burns.
So raise a scarf, let voices climb and flare,
For Rovers’ spirit lives beyond the glare.
