In the amber glow of the Abbey Stadium,
Cambridge United rise, a steady hum,
Their shirts of amber, black, and white—
A tapestry stitched with town‑bound pride.

From the roar of the Cambridgeshire crowd,
To the whistle that slices the crisp autumn air,
Each pass a promise, each tackle a vow,
To honour the badge that the locals wear.

They dance on the pitch with quiet resolve,
Midfield maestros threading dreams through grass,
Strikers chasing the fleeting, elusive goal,
While defenders stand like ancient oak—steadfast, unyielding.

Through seasons of hope and the sting of defeat,
The U's endure, their spirit unbowed,
For in every chant that rolls from the terraces,
Lies the heartbeat of a town that believes, proud.

So here's to Cambridge United—
May your colours forever fly,
And may the faithful, rain or shine,
Find joy in each match, each try.
