Alloa Athletic

poetry
At Recreation Park the orange and black unfold,
A swarm of Wasps that hum beneath the Clyde’s soft sigh.
The terraces echo with loyal, hearty bold,
Where every chant is woven from the town’s shy pride.
Through rain‑slicked pitches and the winter’s biting gust,
The players chase a dream that glints like amber light.
Their passes skim the grass, a quiet, steadfast trust,
Each tackle forged in grit, each goal a bright delight.
From humble beginnings to the league’s fierce roar,
Alloa Athletic’s spirit burns—evermore, evermore.
