Inverness Caledonian Thistle

poetry

Highland hearts beat in Caley’s green and gold,
Where Ness’s mist curls round the stadium’s hold.
From Pittodrie’s echo to Caledonian pride,
The Thistle spreads its wings, with passion as its guide.

Each kick a thistle‑spike, each pass a whispered chant,
The fans in scarlet roar, their voices fierce and gaunt.
Through rain‑slicked pitches and the chill of northern night,
They chase the dream of glory, bathed in floodlight’s bright.

From youthful academy to battle‑scarred first XI,
The club writes its story ’neath the Highland sky.
So raise a glass, let Nessie’s legend intertwine,
With Inverness Caledonian Thistle—forever thine.
