Value

poetry

In quiet corners of the heart we find
A worth that lingers, soft yet keen,
Not measured by the gold we spend
Nor by the headlines that ascend.

It lives in laughter shared at dusk,
In hands that clasp when trust is thrust,
In kindness given, not for show,
In patience that lets love to grow.

The market’s price may rise and fall,
But value’s true stand rests with us all—
A quiet strength, a steady flame,
That names our souls and calls our name.

So cherish not the coin nor fame,
But moments that replace the same—
For what we hold inside, unseen,
Is riches none can ever glean.
