poetry
At the Boleyn Ground the claret and blue
Wave like a tide over Thames’ east view,
The Hammers stride forth with a chant loud and clear,
“I’m forever blowing bubbles,” the fans all revere.
From Bobby’s swift feet to Noble’s steady guard,
Each tackle, each pass leaves the opposition scarred,
The London Stadium roars, a modern colosseum,
Where dreams are forged in claret‑blue chrome.
Through relegation’s grit and Premier League’s flare,
West Ham’s heart beats fierce beyond compare,
So raise a scarf, sing the old, proud refrain,
For the Irons will rise, again and again.
