Sandy

poetry
Sandy whispers beneath the sun‑kissed shore,
Each grain a memory the tide has stored.
Golden dunes stretch, a soft, undulating quilt,
Where children’s laughter and seagulls tilt.
Footprints fade, yet the sand recalls,
Every step, every whispered call.
In quiet moments, when waves retreat,
Sandy holds the world’s warm, humble beat.
So let us wander where the granules gleam,
Lost in the simple, timeless dream
Of Britain’s coast, where sand and sea
Compose a verse for you and me.
