Blink

poetry
A blink – a whisper of an eye’s swift sigh,
A fleeting pause that stitches night to day.
In that brief shutter, worlds collide, then fly,
Like starlight caught within a breathless sway.
It paints the moment with a soft, subdued hue,
A shutter‑click that seals a memory’s gleam,
When laughter blooms and sorrows quietly brew,
And time, for heartbeat’s space, resumes its dream.
So let us cherish each reluctant close,
For in the blink we find eternity’s pose.
