Detox
In the hush of morning, steam curls from a mug of herbal tea,
a quiet promise to flush the excess, to let the body breathe.
Sugar‑laden treats and late‑night spirits are laid aside,
replaced by crisp greens, bright berries, and the steady tread of walking.
Each sip, each stretch, a gentle sweep—
the liver sighs, the skin glows, the mind finds its clearer hue.
Here, in this simple ritual of restraint,
the self rediscovers its natural rhythm,
renewed, refreshed, ready for the day ahead.
