Briny

poetry
Briny whispers kiss the tide’s edge,
Where salt‑kissed waves caress the shore,
A lover’s sigh in sapphire pledge,
The ocean’s breath forevermore.
In rocky coves the gulls do cry,
Their wings aloft in argent flight,
They taste the brine that clouds the sky,
And sing of depths and endless night.
My thoughts, like tide‑pools, linger deep,
Reflecting stars in crystal sheen,
A briny calm that secrets keep,
A salve for hearts that have been keen.
So let the sea’s eternal hymn,
With briny grace, within me swim.
