Tangy

poetry
A zestful whisper on the tongue,
Tangy fruits in summer’s song—
Lime’s bright bite, a citrus spark,
Lemon’s sharp, a daring mark.
It dances like a cheeky dart,
A piquant twist that steals the heart.
From pickled onions, sharp and tart,
To rhubarb’s blush, a work of art.
The palate wakes, the senses stir,
In every tang, a joyful blur.
So raise a glass of fizzy fizz—
Life’s tangy zest, a blissful kiss.
