Savour the hush of morning’s first light,
When dew clings like silver on grass,
And the world exhales a quiet delight—
A gentle reminder that moments can last.

Savour the taste of ripe, sun‑kissed fruit,
Its juice bursting sweet on the tongue,
Each bite a brief, fragrant pursuit
Of summer’s own fleeting song.

Savour the laughter that bubbles up loud,
Echoing off brick‑cobbled lanes,
Where strangers become friends in a crowd,
And worries dissolve like spring rains.

Savour the hush after rain has ceased,
The scent of wet earth, rich and deep,
A perfume that lingers, never decreased,
Inviting the soul to simply sleep.

Savour the quiet between heartbeats,
The pause where hope takes its hold,
For in these small, sacred repeats
Life’s truest riches are told.

So let us linger, let us taste,
Let every second be cherished, held—
For to savour is to never waste
The fragile, beautiful gift we’ve been dealt.
