Taupe
Friday 20 June 2025
poetry
Taupe whispers in the quiet room,
A muted blend of grey and brown,
It hangs upon the wall like silk,
A subtle hue, both calm and mild.
It does not shout, nor does it flare,
But settles soft, beyond compare.
In offices, in homes, in cafés it stays,
The colour of quiet, dignified days.
