Alien

poetry

In the quiet hush of a midnight sky,
A silver shape drifts beyond the clouds,
Its eyes like twin moons, reflecting thought,
A whisper of worlds we’ve never trod.

It steps upon the dew‑kissed grass,
Leaving no print, yet stirring the night,
A gentle pulse of starlit curiosity,
Seeking the heartbeat of Earth’s soft sigh.

We watch, half‑afraid, half‑in awe,
As it reaches out with a hand of light,
Sharing stories of galaxies far,
While we offer our tea, our laughter, our fright.

For in that brief, alien encounter,
We find a mirror of our own longing—
To know we are not alone in the vast,
To feel the cosmos breathe beside us.

So let the stars keep their secrets close,
And let the alien wander on,
Leaving behind a trace of wonder,
A reminder that we’re all starlit song.
