Torch

poetry
In the night’s hush a torch flares bright,
A steady beacon against the dark,
Its flame a quiet promise, warm and light,
Guiding wandering steps till morning’s spark.
Hold it close, feel the gentle heat,
Watch sparks dance like shy fireflies,
Each flicker tells a story sweet,
Of courage found in humble skies.
When dawn arrives and shadows flee,
The torch rests, yet its glow remains—
A quiet warmth inside you and me,
Kindling hope through all our gains.
