Scuba

poetry
Beneath the sapphire sigh of seas,
A diver slips in silent grace,
Where kelp forests sway like emerald lace,
And coral crowns the quiet deep.
The hiss of breath, a steady hum,
Bubbles rise like thoughts untold,
Each pulse a rhythm, brave and bold,
In water’s hush, the world feels young.
Sunlight fractures, prismed and thin,
Painting shadows on the sand,
A ballet of the unseen hand,
Where silence sings and dreams begin.
So we descend, our hearts in tune,
With tides that turn and currents play,
In Britain’s blue, we find our way—
Scuba souls beneath the moon.
