Nervy
Wednesday 16 July 2025
poetry
Nervy, she steps onto the stage,
Heart a drum, a restless pulse,
Yet every glance she throws is bold,
A spark that cracks the quiet hush.
In the hush of curtains, fear and fire entwine,
She dances on the edge of daring,
Nervy—both tremor and triumph—
A whisper of courage in the trembling air.
