poetry
Upon the ivory keys I wander,
Each note a whisper, soft as rain,
A cascade of sound that gently ponders
The hush between delight and pain.
The lid now raised, the hammers sing,
Their timber hearts in measured beat,
A melody that takes wing,
Turning silence into sweet.
From Chopin’s nocturne to jazz’s bright flare,
The piano holds the world’s refrain,
Its voice both bold and tender, rare—
A timeless friend, a soul’s refrain.
