Mocha

poetry
A cup of mocha waits in quiet steam,
Its dark‑brown hue a warm, inviting gleam.
Rich cocoa swirls with espresso’s sigh,
A velvety blend that reaches sky.
The aroma drifts, a sweet, chocolate kiss,
Reminding one of cosy, rain‑kissed bliss.
Sip by sip, the bitterness eases,
Leaving comfort that the soul appeases.
In bustling cafés or a quiet nook,
Mocha whispers calm from every crook.
A British favourite, humble yet grand—
A simple pleasure, perfectly planned.
