Helix
In quiet labs where fibres twine, A double spiral draws the line, Each turn a whisper, soft and grand, Of life’s own code, a woven strand.
From seashell’s curl to pinecone’s sigh, The helix climbs the vaulted sky, Its graceful twist a silent song, Where matter dances, fierce and strong.
In DNA’s pale, winding stair, The secrets of our being stare, Each base a note, each rung a beat, A rhythm written in discrete.
So let us trace the endless coil, From atom’s hum to mortal toil, And find in every twisting thread, The helix hums where dreams are fed.
