Reset

I realise the hum of circuits fade,
A silent programme steals the shade,
I press the key, feel currents cease,
And find a moment’s gentle peace.

The screen goes black, a velvet night,
Then bursts anew with softened light,
Each pixel wakes in colours bright,
A fresh display, a pure delight.

I recognise the chance to start,
To let the old frustrations part,
An organisation of my thoughts,
Reordered, calm, unsought.

So when the world feels worn and pressed,
Remember you can simply reset,
Press pause, breathe, let the storm be blessed,
And rise again — your own reset.
