In a room lit by the glow of LED strips,
Where wires coil like vines around a Raspberry Pi,
A geek sits cross‑legged, eyes fixed on code—
Python scripts humming like a quiet kettle.

He debates the merits of UTF‑8 versus ASCII,
While sipping Earl Grey, steam curling like a loop,
His favourite pastime: debugging a stubborn bug,
Turning error messages into triumphant verses.

Stickers of Tux and the Tardis adorn his laptop,
A homage to open‑source and time‑travel dreams,
He quotes Douglas Adams when the Wi‑Fi drops,
“Don’t panic,” he murmurs, then rewrites the router.

In the silence between keystrokes, he finds rhythm,
A symphony of clicks, whirrs, and occasional sighs,
Geeky not as a label, but a badge of curiosity—
Where every line of code is a stanza, every compile a cheer.
