poetry

In quiet corners of the day,
A debt is felt in simple sway—
Not coin nor gold, but kindness lent,
A whispered thanks, a warm assent.

When shadows fall and lights grow dim,
We give what others gave to him;
Each gentle act, a steady tide,
Returns the love we could not hide.

So let us tread with open hands,
Repaying grace across the lands;
For every gift we freely share,
Comes back to us beyond compare.
