poetry

Often the rain sighs against the windowpane,
A soft refrain that drifts through quiet streets,
Where lovers pause beneath the amber glow
Of lamplight that flickers like a hesitant promise.

Often we find ourselves caught in the in‑between,
Holding the echo of what was and what might be,
In the simple rhythm of a heartbeat’s repeat—
Life’s gentle reminder that moments return, again and again.
